Ontario Craft Brewers Ambassador

Last week I got an email from the Ontario Craft Brewers about a new "Ambassadors" program that they have going. So I clicked on the link to check it out, and decided after seeing it to sign up. I figure I already consider myself a Beer Ambassador, so why not, right? Wow, I had no idea what would happen next! This morning a huge box arrived by courier on our front step, and it contained a whole bunch of swag, shown here!

The box included :

• 8 glasses (4 types, 2 of each)
• 2 OCB openers
• 1 Mill St Opener
• 1 Great Lakes Pen
• 1 Binder full of beer propaganda (have not read yet)
• several Ontario Beer Styles pamphlets
• 1 beer tasting place mat (WTF?)
• 1 package personalized business cards
• 1 letter explaining it all (also to be scanned in RSN)

Thankfully there are people out there like you who already know how great locally produced, preservative free, interesting and unique beers - all come from the OCB. We are here to help you impress your friends with your endless knowledge and passion.
We have put together an Ambassador Kit for you! It contains all of the elements you will need to grow your knowledge and appreciation for the OCB and all of its brands!

Here is a sneak peak of what we have included in this kit:

• OCB Beer Bible: contains everything you need to know about OCB Beer
• OCB Glassware: each designed for a specific style of beer and some tips for using glassware to enhance the
  flavour of beer
• OCB Tasting Sheets: for conducting 'at home tastings' and to see how well you know your OCB beer
• OCB Style Guide = the official list of OCB member brands
• OCB Swag: you'll find a few OCB gift items that you can brag about to your beer buddies
• OCB Business Cards: give them out to everyone you know and share your knowledge and passion for locally brewed OCB beer

  In addition to this kit, we will also develop a personalized page on our website just for you! Your page will feature your picture and welcome message and allow you the opportunity to create your own OCB Ambassador blog, rate OCB Beers and Breweries, and keep track of your OCB experiences as you continue to explore the variety of breweries and beers made right here in Ontario.
